Folkestone Opera, Paris

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, although small as expected for Paris, were surprisingly lovely and more spacious than anticipated. However, the tight space could be challenging for two people to comfortably spend time in. The service was a bit of a rollercoaster with some very courteous and kind staff members, but a hint of suspicion in interactions made me feel uncomfortable at times. The location was a real surprise, offering a clean, cozy, and comfortable experience with easy access to local markets, bars, and public transport, which made it a great base for exploring Paris. The dining experience was good overall, with a nice variety of fresh foods, but there seemed to be a lack of complimentary options. While the facilities were sufficient for my needs, some areas could use improvement to match the value for money provided.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is top-notch, very close to the metro station and with a beautiful terrace to enjoy. The rooms, while facing the courtyard, were cozy and clean. The service was exceptional, with friendly staff always ready to help and even offering complimentary minibar access. However, there was a minor inconvenience when the manager couldn't provide a refund despite an issue. The dining experience was satisfactory with a good variety of breakfast options, though slightly repetitive. Overall, a great value for money hotel with excellent proximity to key attractions.
